Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers! I appreciate everyone who has been reading and commenting; it makes me less homesick (but I still miss you all)!
Today started off slowly with the journey from Pamukkale to Ankara. We left at 9:30am and arrived at about 5:30pm or so...a very long bus ride indeed. We were greeted at the bus station by Enis (top left) and Benan (bottom right) who took us to a restaurant named Charlotte for supper. We then met up with Anna (second from top right) and her local exchange officer (top right..whose name I cannot spell but will find out in the future). Vilson (bottom left) and Mathilde (far left) also joined us for the evening. We spent the remainder of today bonding through pharmacy discussion and talking about music, plus we had an impromptu photoshoot on my MacBook. We must be ready to go at 9am tomorrow to move into the dorm and fill out paperwork for our badges and such so since it is 1:15am here I will be going to bed now but I will be sure to discuss some of the topics of conversation tonight in a future post.
Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers! I appreciate everyone who has been reading and commenting; it makes me less homesick (but I still miss you all)!

Thanks for the group shot, it will be great to put a face with the names of your group. That was great you got to spend some time with them before you start tomorrow. Have a great day tomorrow looking forward to hearing about your day. Love mom

Merhaba! I'm so glad you were able to find my blog and that you have enjoyed reading about my experiences. It means so much to receive positive feedback from a Turkish pharmacist. Thank you for the best wishes and I return the favor.
